Everybody who is somebody in the field of photography have, one time or the other, lamented about the current surge of new photographers plaguing the market - especially so in the wedding arena. Most blame the absurdly affordable and deceptively simple-to-use dSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras. Of course, they are right about this. Take a walk around town, throw a pebble up in the air. I am pretty sure it'll land on somebody with a dSLR (He/She'll probably give you a long lecture on how you just ruin the perfect shot, etc. Haha. I digress...)

Is this a bad thing though? Sure, the market's a little more competitive but I do see some good in it.

In all honesty - if you think you can do it, then do it - but don't be that person who buys a puppy only to dump it once it loses it's cuteness. Photography is somewhat a commitment. Craft your craft. Improve your techniques. It's a never ending learning curve.

And more often that not, people get so serious they forgot that one thing that got them into photography - because it's fun!

Hence, this is my site. It's a reminder to myself to continue having fun doing what I love doing and to share this love with everyone.
